There are a couple of coworking groups floating around. I meet with a group (most web-devs) once a week on Tuesday afternoons at either Ugly Mug or Portland Brewery (on Eastland). There is also a group that’s in the works organizing an effort to lease out a larger office where freelancers can work on a regular basis.

As for web-devs, there is everything from the freelancers to agencies. If you hit up some of the groups, I’m sure they’d be happy to talk to you. Check out the Nashville Ruby group (on meetup), Nashville Dynamic Languages (on irc.freenode.net #nashdl), Enterprise LAMP (.org), Nashville Symfony Group… there’s a lot of them out there, and they’re all good places to start asking about interesting development projects.
